Ms. Cochran began at Cochran Freund & Young, LLC in 2007 as a Patent Engineer conducting searches and advising clients regarding relevant prior art. In 2009, Ms. Cochran passed the Patent Bar Examination administered by the United States Patent and Trademark office, thereby becoming a fourth generation Patent Practitioner. Since becoming a registered Patent Agent, Ms. Cochran has drafted and prosecuted applications for patent in the mechanical and electrical fields, as well as counseling clients regarding the prosecution process and the patentability of their ideas. Ms. Cochran had extensive training at the firm and through Patent Resources Group.

Ms. Cochran holds a Bachelor of Science in the Natural Sciences with a concentration in Physical Science and minors in Physics and Mathematics from Colorado State University.

Ms. Cochran has expertise in applying Patent Law to the sciences.
