DONNA K. GARNER, Office Manager
Donna K. Garner is our Office Manager and Bookkeeper. She has 25 years experience as a bookkeeper. She formerly worked at Hasler, Fonfara and Maxwell and Western Land Corporation in Ft. Collins. Before that, she worked at Rocky Mountain Hospital in Denver and was the Manager of Cashiers at Target in Houston, Texas.

STEFAN T. BUMP, Patent Paralegal
Stefan T. Bump has fourteen years experience as a paralegal. He began his career with Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon in San Francisco in 1990, working in Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Products Liability. In 1995 he and his family moved to Colorado where he joined Chrisman, Bynum & Johnson, P.C., first as a Corporate/Business paralegal, and later with the Intellectual Property Group as a patent paralegal. He joined Cochran Freund & Young LLC in 2004 where he currently specializes in foreign patent prosecution.

Education: California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Calif. (B.S. in Finite Mathematics; Minor in German Studies)

CHRISTIE C. CARSON, Trademark Paralegal
Christie C. Carson has over six years experience in the field of IP law. She began her career as the Office Manager in March of 2001, with the Law Offices of William W. Cochran and was promoted to the position of Trademark Paralegal while maintaining her position as Office Manager. Christie resumed her position in October 2006 as Trademark Paralegal, after having taken off a year and seven months for maternity leave.

Education: Virginia Wesleyan College, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, 1993, with a minor in Elementary Education.

Professional Associations: Informational Resources Committee, International Trademark Association.

PAMELA BAUERNFEIND, Patent Paralegal
Pamela Bauernfeind has over twenty years experience as a paralegal in both California and Colorado. She has worked in the fields of criminal law, family law, estate planning, probate, real estate, contract law, personal injury, medical malpractice and civil litigation. Pamela joined Cochran Freund & Young as a patent paralegal in 2006.

KELLEY KITE, Patent Paralegal
Kelley joined Cochran Freund & Young, LLC as a patent paralegal in July of 2007. She has four years of experience in the legal profession. Her legal experience includes civil litigation, family law, criminal law, estate planning, and probate. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology, as well as a paralegal certificate that she obtained through Colorado State University.

ANDREA CARMAN, Administrative Assistant
Andrea Carman joined Cochran Freund & Young in 2006. She has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Colorado State University.

HEATHER GIFFORD, Administrative Assistant
Heather Gifford joined Cochran, Freund and Young in March of 2008. She attended Diablo Valley College in California where her studies included Liberal Arts and at Christian Life School of Theology, Christian Education. Heather has worked as administrative/support staff for three years.
